MICHIGAN VOTERS
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ

Effective November 6, 2007 ALL Michigan voters will be required to either present a picture identification or sign an affidavit if they do not have a picture identification with them to obtain a ballot.

This was enacted by the State Legislature in 1996, however was not enforced. The Michigan Supreme Court ruled on July 18, 2007 that it was constitutional and enforceable.
